Padma Bhushan awardee and CSIR Bhatnagar Fellow at National Chemical Laboratory (Pune) Dr Raghunath Ananth Mashelkar will be the main speaker at the function, university Vice-Chancellor Ashok Kumar said.
At the function, 88 medals will be given to meritorious students, he said.
The convocation ceremony will be preceded by convocation week which began on the campus today, he said.
The first day of the week was marked by the inauguration of an audio visual laboratory for visually impaired children and a book exhibition. The book exhibition will continue till December 19. A cultural programme will also be held on the day.
