Consequently Dully Kamduk was relieved from the charges of DC Tawang, an official order issued today, said.
On May 2, Mittal was appointed OSD to supervise law and order situation at Tawang after two persons died in police firing and also to initiate peace process by involving all sections of the society.
Deputy Chief Minister Kameng Dolo, who also holds the Home portfolio, on May 4 suspended Kamduk along with SP Anto Alphanse and OC of Tawang police station Lam Dondhup for their "inept" handling of the tense situation in the district.
