The 36-year-old actress insists she forgives her father Bill Hudson for leaving her and her brother and admits it has only made the pair stronger as siblings, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Speaking on Jenny McCarthy's Dirty Sexy Funny show on Sirius XM, Hudson said: "I think Oliver and I both probably suffered differently and very similarly to anybody who feels abandoned by a parent ... We can have a sense of humor about it together. We can sort of laugh at the challenges that we faced because of it - together.
"Life is funny. I just feel so lucky. I actually feel like it was a blessing. No matter what he goes through, I'm all forgiveness.
