Britain's future Queen, Kate Middleton, officially ended her maternity leave today by resuming royal duties at a children's mental health charity event here.
The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge had been on leave since the birth of her second child, Princess Charlotte, while husband Prince William had ended his paternity leave and started a new job as an air ambulance pilot in July.
Four months after giving birth, Kate's tour of the Anna Freud Centre in central London is her first official solo public engagement.
The centre is named after Anna Freud, a pioneer of child psychoanalysis and a daughter of the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, who was instrumental in its creation.
Kate witnessed the work done by the centre and taking a tour of its new facilities.
The charity's planned community campus will see experts in mental health, neuroscience and education work with children and families to develop new treatments and approaches.
The family school, which opened on a temporary site in September last year, provides alternative education for children who are at risk of exclusion and are struggling to achieve.
The topic of mental health awareness is one that Kate has previously campaigned on.
Away from her charity work, she and husband William will walk the red carpet with 007 for the world premiere of 'Spectre' in London on October 26.
