The 32-year-old songstress took to Twitter to rubbish the claims and said it was nice to meet the "Catch Hell" actor at Elton John's birthday party last month.
"Hi, nice to meet you, sorry about that @RyanPhillippe carry on, lol," tweeted Perry.
Phillippe had refuted reports which claimed that he and the "Roar" singer were in a relationship, by tweeting in all caps, "I AM NOT DATING KATY PERRY. BARELY KNOW HER. PLEASE STOP FLYING HELICOPTERS OVER MY HOUSE. SHE IS NOT HERE."
While, Phillippe and his ex-fiancee Paulina Slagter split in November after being together for five years.
