Katy Perry calls Brand divorce a 'Tiny Elephant' in the room

It's been nearly a year since her divorce from Russell Brand was finalised, but it is only now Katy Perry is getting more comfortable talking about it.
According to reports, the 28-year-old was asked about her tracks "Wide Awake" and "Part of Me", which were added to the deluxe edition of her 'Teenage Dream' album, which seemed to hint at her failed marriage to Brand.
"It's a very tiny elephant. It's like a little Tchotchke now. The Big D - you can say it," she said referring to her divorce.
Brand, 37, filed for divorce in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage. The divorce was finalised in July 2012, reported Us magazine.

Since then, Perry has had an on-off romance with John Mayer.
In an interview, Brand was asked about how he feels about his ex-wife dating the "Waiting on the World to Change" singer.
Perry and Mayer, 35, started dating in summer 2012, briefly called it quits that August and then reconciled the next month.
