AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal today arrived at the polling booth at Tilak Marg to cast his vote literally with a 'bang' as two vehicles collided outside the entry gate of the booth, triggering a momentary alarm.
Kejriwal reached the polling booth at around 10.30 AM with his wife, father and mother. As people gathered and shouted his name, there was a loud noise.
Onlookers wondered what had happened amid fears that there was some mishap involving the AAP leader.
However, it turned out that two cars had collided against each other with one of them crashing into the divider.
Kejriwal emerged calm from his vehicle and jostled his way to the booth with the media in tow.
"One has already lost the election while the other is considering himself as the future PM. But people of the country will decide," Kejriwal said.
After casting his vote, the leader flashed his inked marked finger, exuding confidence of his party's victory.
"We will win all seven seats and this fight against corruption. We are unified in this fight. This is 'dharmayudh' between good and evil and the truth will emerge victorious. The truth and the common man will prevail in this election," Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal's mother Geeta Devi said, "We have voted for change....Now we are waiting for May 16 (poll results) while his father Govind Ram said that "its all up to God now.
