Kejriwal inaugurates 2 toilet complexes in Okhla

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today inaugurated two toilet complexes in Okhla industrial area and promised to open 700 more in the the next two days.
Built at a cost of around Rs 2 crore, the facilities have been constructed keeping in view of the water conservation policy as part of which bathroom water will be recycled for flushing.
Over the next two days, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) is going to dedicate 20 toilet complexes consisting of 785 toilet seats, Kejriwal said.
It was the second inauguration of the day by the Chief Minister on the eve of Diwali. Earlier, he launched the Azadpur-Prembari Pul elevated corridor and also flagged off the Jahangirpuri-Samaypur Badli extension of the Delhi Metro.
"200 new toilet seats opened in a slum. More than 700 new seats will be started in next 2 days. 2000 new toilet seats made since we took over," Kejriwal tweeted.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also present at the inauguration of the toilet blocks at Sanjay Colony of Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II.
DUSIB said that since the AAP government took over, it has added 58 complexes comprising 2,031 seats for slum dwellers in Delhi.
As per official data, the agency is managing 544 toilet complexes with 14,956 seats, out of which 473 blocks with 12,747 seats are functional and the rest are under renovation in phased manner.
