Kejriwal telling lies to people of Punjab: Sharmistha

Congress leader Sharmistha Mukherjee today appealed to the people of Punjab to reject Aam Aadmi Party's claim on 'Delhi Model of Development' saying, "Arvind Kejriwal is lying" to them.
"Arvind Kejriwal and other leaders of AAP are fooling voters by talking about growth in Punjab on the lines of Delhi. This is a lie and people should not get influenced," she told a press conference here yesterday.
Sharmistha, the daughter of President Pranab Mukherjee, referring to a CAG report said, "Kejriwal and his party claim they saved Rs 100 crore in construction of flyovers in Delhi. They even claim the construction expenditures of 'Mohalla Clinics' have come down to Rs 20 Lakh from Rs 5 crore."

However, no document has been provided in the CAG audit report to back the claims that AAP government saved money, she said.
Mukherjee said information received through RTI shows the AAP government in Delhi has constructed only one school and 20 are under construction while they promised 100 schools in one year.
