He will arrive at the vipassana centre in Dharamkot, upper Dharamsala, on Monday and begin the course on Tuesday.
In-charge of the vipassana centre Pawan Sharma said Kejriwal would be briefed about his daily routines on August 1 and the course would start on August 2 morning and continue till August 11 evening.
He will not take up any official work and will not have access to newspapers, television or any other media during the period.
His deputy Manish Sisodia will be in charge of the government then.
