Kerala govt hikes journos pension

Congress led UDF Government in Kerala today increased the pension paid to journalists from Rs.4,500 to Rs.7,000.
The budget presented by State Finance Minister K M Mani also increased the pension of non-journalists from Rs.2,500 to Rs.4,000 per month.
The housing subsidy available to journalist has been increased from Rs.50,000 to Rs.One lakh.
