The chief minister was presiding over a meeting to review the progress of university here today, an official release said.
He was informed in the meeting that the proposed health university would have all the speciality and super speciality departments offering under-graduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral courses.
The gram panchayat had offered 100 acres of land free of cost for setting up of the university which would have a medical college with 200 MBBS admissions and a 750-bedded hospital.
All latest technology and infrastructures would also be ensured in the proposed university for medical education and research purposes, he said.
