The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" beauty, who began dating James in July, hit headlines when reports suggested she had quietly called it quits with the Houston Rockets ace several weeks ago.
Khloe has now confirmed the news by revealing she has signed up to matchmaking website OKCupid - although she claims it's all just for fun, reported Us magazine.
"I've never done online dating before, but just for giggles," she wrote on her website.
"Malika (Haqq, best friend) and I decided to fill one out. It was actually really fun to do, LOL (laugh out loud)!"
"Working or hanging out with my nieces and nephews: Penelope, Mason, Reign, Saint and North!" she stated in the 'hobbies' section.
The 31-year-old also revealed her motto is: "Taking every day as it comes."
Khloe previously put her romance with James on hold in October last year after her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, suffered a scary drug overdose at a Nevada brothel.
At the time, the reality TV star insisted James had been nothing but supportive as she helped to nurse Lamar back to good health after he awoke from a coma.
