"Khurana's all vital parameters are normal, he is responding well to treatment and started opening his eyes. Bleeding in the brain has subsided and is presently on minimal support of ventilator which we can remove in the next couple of days, although he is still in ICU," Rajesh Acharya, Senior Neuro Surgeon at Ganga Ram hospital, said.
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had visited the hospital to meet him yesterday. She stayed with him for half-an-hour and enquired about his treatment from doctors.
His surgery took an hour and was conducted by neurosurgeons Rajesh Acharya, Samir Kalra and Gaurav Jain at the hospital.
