Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police reviews security after terror attack

Police in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province today reviewed the security of sensitive establishments, including schools and colleges following the deadly Taliban attack on a military-run school here.
Chairing a high-level meeting of Regional Police Officers, Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani asked policemen to keep strict vigil on the terrorists who have been bailed out, take them on surety bond again and restrict their movement.
In the meeting, security of schools, colleges and other sensitive establishments, Tenants Information Form (TIF), rented building and hotels security acts, schedule four accused, search and strike operations, vehicles detected through Virtual Vehicle Spawner (VVS) and persons checked through Civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) were also discussed.

The regional police officers gave detailed briefing of their respective regions about the prevailing security situation and steps taken for it.
The IGP directed the participants to post an additional SHO in all urban police stations of the rank of inspector or sub inspector along with necessary staff.
The policemen were further directed to personally visit each and every school, college and other sensitive establishments in their jurisdiction and review the security measures adopted there.
They were also directed to ensure that security team headed by a dedicated and professional security in-charge was in place, CCTV Camera, proper razor wire in the wall and checking of employees through bio-metric system installed.

Similarly they were also directed to visit each and every city, town and village and inform the people to immediately fill the Tenant Information Form (TIF) and register cases against those violating tenant and rented building laws enacted in the larger interest of the public.
