Kid Cudi takes fans to 'Star Wars' screening

Rapper Kid Cudi treated his fans in California to a screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at the weekend.
The 31-year-old rapper bought all the tickets for an 11pm screening of the long-awaited movie at the Pacific Theatres within the Americana mall in Glendale, California on Saturday night and issued an open invite on Twitter for his loyal supporters to go and enjoy the film with him. Reported Female First.
He wrote, "Do you love Star Wars? Do you love me? Would you wanna see Star Wars Force Awakens tonight with me, my treat? If you're cool, with a good heart and good vibes and said yes to all of these things, then meet me at the address with one of my albums, (SBTH so I know its real) or some type of OFFICIAL Kid Cudi merch (T shirt, hat etc).
"And the first people to get here by 10.50 pm with at least one of those things gets 1 single adult ticket to the 11pm Star Wars Force Awakens in 3D on the house with me and some friends. I pretty much bought the entire theater so lets pack it up!!..."
Cudi added he wanted to watch the movie for the third time with a great company.
"Why am I doing this? It's Star Wars. And why not! I thought it would be cool to start the year off watching a great film for the third time with some great company," he wrotr.
Following the screening, Twitter was flooded with grateful fans thanking the star, whose real name is Scott Mescudi,s for his generosity and showing off pictures of their signed tickets and merchandise.
The rapper has promised he will be staging "a couple more" screenings in different cities.
