The 35-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star took to her website, kimkardashianwest.Com, to pen an essay about her frustration with the media and "body shaming" phenomena.
"In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives," Kim wrote.
"I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime - and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?"
The mother of two got backlashes from celebrities like Chloe Moretz and Bette Midler after she posted a nude selfie on her Instagram account.
"I am empowered by my body... I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me," she added.
Kim still had a lot of people who supported her. She noted in her essay that she was grateful to be surrounded by people who loved her, especially her husband Kanye West.
Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Abigail Breslin, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne then chimed in to defend the star.
