"I do not want a hung Parliament. There is the need for a strong and stable government," the former IPS officer told reporters here when asked about emergence of a third alternative to Congress and BJP.
When asked about supporting BJP, Bedi, who has stated that Narendra Modi was her preferred choice for Prime Minister's post, said "being political is not my nature."
On the clamour for an anti-racism law in view of the killing of a Arunachal Pradesh student in Delhi, Bedi who was here to interact with women at a function organised by Indian Women Nework, a CII initiative, said laws cannot change the attitude. What was needed at this hour was frequent exchange of students across the country.
Bedi, who appeared not keen to discuss any issue concerned with Aam Aadmi Party, however, said the Delhi Government's proposed Jan Lokpal Bill was not supported by law.
