Kiran Gurrala named CEO of city planning body

IAS officer Kiran Gurrala has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), an official statement said today.
Gurrala, who was Additional Director of Agriculture, has been posted as CEO of CMDA in place of A Karthik, Member-Secretary of planning authority, who was holding additional charge as CEO.
Chief Secretary Mohan Varghese Chunkath notified the appointment today in a government order.
