Kishmish rises on stockists buying, tight supply

Kishmish prices rose Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today supported by increased offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid low stocks following restricted supplies.
Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,700-5,900 and Rs 9,100-10,200 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid fall in supplies from producing areas, mainly pushed up kishmish prices at the dry fruit market here.
Following are today's quotations (per 40 kgs):
Almond (California) Rs 23,200, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,600-11,100; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 7,100-7,300; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 795-820 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 850-880 per kg.
