KMC employee dies at office

A Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) employee died of cardiac arrest at his workplace in the city today.
KMC Mayor-in-Council Atin Ghosh said the treasury department employee Moinuddin Ali died at his borough no 15 office of the KMC.
Ali had complained of uneasiness and chest pain during work and later declared dead by a doctor, the MIC said.
Meanwhile sweltering heat and high humidity inconvenienced people in the city and roads were deserted in mid-day.
