The JCI accreditation is awarded to the best hospitals in the world after identifying, measuring and sharing the best practices in overall quality, patient safety and employee safety, a release said.
President and Chief Executive Officer of JCI, Paula Wilson, handed over the accreditation to Azad Moopen, Chairman, Aster Medcity, and Dr. Harish Pillai, CEO in the presence of Prabhu Vinayakham, Managing Director, Asia Pacific Joint Commission International and several other dignitaries.
Based in Illinois, USA, JCI is a division of the Joint Commission Resources Inc (JCR), a private, not-for-profit affiliate, which works to improve patient safety and quality of health care.
