Chatterjee termed the Left Front-sponsored rally in front of the KMC as ''politically motivated'' and rubbished the allegation that the KMC ''failed'' to control dengue outbreak in the city.
''Dengue is fully under control and the camps are still functioning in different parts of the metropolis'', the Mayor said.
He claimed that the Trinamool Congress-led KMC had achieved more success in implementing bustee development schemes than the Left Front-run civic body.
