Kolkata reels under scorching heat

The city today reeled under a scorching sun with the maximum temperature settling close to 35 degrees Celsius in the absence of any rainfall.
The MeT Department said the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
The minimum was recorded as 28.1 degrees Celsius with no rainfall.
Although rainfall was recorded in some districts of the state, the weatherman said.
The Department has predicted partly cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm fro tomorrow.
