"The Konkan Railway is getting good response for the initiative and the co-operation of travellers is helping the railway to serve them better," the Konkan Railway said in a release here.
Various activities like clean environment, clean station, train, water, complex, cleanliness participation, cleanliness dialogue, dedication for ensuring cleanliness and aim to cater hygienic food are part of the campaign, it said.
Steps would be taken to create awareness among railway employees and their families to ensure cleanliness in their vicinity and skits would be staged at railway stations to create awareness among the passengers, it added.
Special focus would be given in providing safe drinking water and cleanliness of stations and trains, the release said.
