KPLT cadre surrenders

A senior cadre of the Karbi
Peoples Liberation Tigers (KPLT) surrendered before the Army at Diphu in Karbi Anglong, defence sources said.
Lun Sing Rohgang surrendered at the Red Horns Division unit based here along with an assault rifle and 95 rounds of ammunition, the sources said.
While KPLT chief Kangthur Teron was killed along with five cadre during an encounter with Army personnel in May, in another operation the outfit's general secretary and four other cadre were apprehended last week.
