The 23-year-old actress has been hired to model the French brand's 2014 campaign, which would captured by Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld, reported Independent.
Stewart attended the brand's Metiers d'Art show in Dallas on December 10, which sparked rumours about her signing the deal.
The actress, who attended the event with 'Twilight' co-star Dakota Fanning, had put on a cropped grey top and high-waist orange leather trousers.
Stewart's advertising campaign will be released in May, 2014.
The 'Snow White and the Huntsman' star has followed the footsteps of other Chanel ambassadors including Keira Knightley, Brad Pitt, Blake Lively and Vanessa Paradis.
