"As far as we are concerned there is only one Congress," Kushbu told reporters at party headquarters Sathyamurthy Bhavan to a question on group rivalry between supporters of TNCC chief Elangovan and former Union Minister P Chidambaram.
She was earlier accorded a reception by Congress office-bearers on her appointment as national spokesperson.
Asked on comments about Kamaraj rule made by a party office bearer which triggered a row, she said, "Kamaraj and Congress cannot be separated and both are same, it is not possible to speak of Congress without mentioning Kamaraj."
Kushbu quit DMK in June last year and joined Congress in November. She joined DMK in May, 2010 when it was ruling Tamil Nadu.
