Labourer commits suicide

An unemployed labourer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Karni Vihar area here, police said today.
The victim, identified as Navratan Choudhary (30) hung himself from a ceiling hook inside his locked room, they said.
Choudhary returned last night from the day's work to his house where he lived with a number of workers in Bhankrota area.
His body was recovered in the morning after his roommates broke open the window seal, police said.
The reason of the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, they said adding the body has been sent for postmortem.
