Labourer dead, 5 injured in boundary wall collapse

A labourer died and five others were injured as the boundary wall of a government polytechnic institute in the district caved in today, police said.

The incident took place when the labourers were constructing a drain beside the boundary wall of the institute's campus at Chatta village under Derabish police station area.

The boundary wall collapsed all on a sudden and fell upon the labourers.

While one worker died, five others are undergoing treatment at district headquarters hospital, police said.

The condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical.
