According to a fire service official, they received a call about the blaze at about 8:40 PM yesterday following which two fire tenders were rushed to the spot which doused the flames in an hour.
Mukesh (23), Harishchandra (22), Pankaj (35), Manveer (30), and Sonu (18) sustained burn injuries. They were taken to Maharishi Valmiki hospital where Mukesh was declared dead on arrival.
Hospital sources said Harishchandra had received 90 per cent burn injuries, Sonu 60 per cent, Pankaj 40 per cent and Manveer 20 per cent burn injuries.
