The singer, known for her outlandish outfits, will be seen in a scene with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who has an important role in the sequel, reported E! Online.
"It's true! I'll be in 'Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For' with my favourite scene partner Joseph Gordon-Levitt," Gaga captioned a still from the film on Instagram.
"I love (director Robert) Rodriguez he really killed this one!," she added.
Gaga said it is a small role but once she takes break from music, she will do more films.
"I'm just warming up I gotta wet my feet first. Plus I perform best when I have time to focus," she said.
'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' is expected to release on August 22.
