Prasad pillion rode to the flood affected areas in Manjha and Gopalganj blocks and met the villagers affected by flooding of Gandak river during the day.

Later, talking to reporters Prasad, accused Nitish Kumar government of ignoring the flood and erosion affected people in Gopalganj. "I spoke to the state water resource minister to pray for flood protection in the area and making available relief materials to the affected people but no relief has reached the people in Gopalganj till now."

The RJD chief directed his party workers to arrange one quintal foodgrains and plastic sheets to each of the affected families and also assist in rescue and relief operations.
