Opposing remarks of Yadav on Modi soon after the RJD chief came out of jail yesterday, BJP leader and former Speaker C P Singh claimed in the House that Lalu should know that there was no comparison between him and Modi.
"Kahan Narendra Modi aur kahan Lalu ji (no match between the two)!, and he (Lalu) should understand this," Singh, who was speaking on the debate over supplementary budget, said.
Reacting to a ruling MLA's remark, Singh said, "Sitting in a glass house, don't throw stones at others."
Acting at the objection raised by Finance Minister and CLP leader Rajendra Prasad Singh to a separate remark by Jha against the Congress, Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta asked to expunge the remark.
Hitting back at the BJP, Congress MLA Bana Gupta said, "The BJP has ditched Lord Ram and switched over to NaMO Modi)."
Accusing Modi of building up support over statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to garner votes," Gupta said a noble person's contribution is judged, not by the height of a statue, but by his personality.
