Yadav along with senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi was addressing a poll meeting at Manika. Prasad was convicted in a fodder scam case on September 30 last year.
Appealing to people to vote for BJP candidate Harikrishna Singh in the upcoming assembly elections, Yadav reminded how fractured mandates during the previous elections marred the developmental works in Jharkhand.
Stating that if the BJP was given majority Jharkhand's "fate and direction" would change for better, he delved on developmental works undertaken by the Central government.
