The last rites of former Union minister Bhuvnesh Chaturvedi were today performed here.
Chaturvedi's mortal remains were consigned to flames after Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje paid homage to him here.
Chaturvedi(85), who was Minister of State in the PMO during Narsimha Rao's tenure, was unmarried, Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Pankaj Mehta told PTI over phone from Kota.
He breathed his last around 6:30 pm at Kota Heart Hospital.
Earlier in February, he was rushed to a private heart hospital in Gurgaon from where he was referred back to Kota.
