D K Srivastava was pronounced guilty by Special Judge Manoj Jain of Saket court for corruption but reserved its order on the quantum of sentence against him on November 11.
The case relates to a complaint made by one Rajeev Sharma on May 11, 2006 alleging Srivastava had demanded Rs four lakh bribe from him on the promise that he would favour him in a preliminary inquiry against him.
The agency filed its charge sheet within two months before the special CBI court which found him guilty for the offences relating to bribery and criminal misconduct on the part of a public servant.
