Taking positive cues from the global market and rising spot demand, lead futures traded 0.22 per cent higher at Rs 114.90 per kg today as participants stepped up their bets.
Lead for delivery in November moved up by 25 paise, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 114.90 per kg, in a business turnover of 165 lots in futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
On similar lines, the metal for delivery in the current month was trading higher by 15 paise, or 0.13 per cent, at Rs 113.70 per kg in 4,764 lots.
