Lead down 0.2% on sluggish spot demand
Metal for delivery in November also shed 0.08%
Press Trust of India New Delhi Lead prices eased by 0.16% to Rs 123.85 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in reducing exposures amid subdued demand at domestic spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in current month fell by 20 paise, or 0.16%, to Rs 123.85 per kg in business turnover of 51 lots.
The metal for delivery in November also shed 10 paise, or 0.08%, to Rs 124.95 per kg in a turnover of 3 lots.
Marketmen said a weak trend in select base metals at the London Metal Exchange (LME) and subdued demand from batter-makers at domestic spot markets, mainly weighed on lead futures here.
