A leader of Nepal's Samajbadi Party was shot at by unidentified gunmen in the country's Kapilvastu district on Thursday, according to a media report.
Forty-year-old Ram Narayan Yadav, who sustained injuries on his shoulder, was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the MyRepublica news portal reported.
Yadav, who is a leader in Nepal's ruling coalition, was on his motorcycle going to Taulihawa from Lumbini when he was attacked by a gang of six men at Titirihaya under Suddhodan rural municipality area, the report said.
