The 30-year-old wants to conceive naturally but would not hesitate to turn to adoption or surrogacy If she fails to get pregnant, reported People magazine.
Her husband already has two sons, Mason, nine and Jake, six, with former wife Brandi Glanville.
"We have a lot on our plates. But whenever I talk about kids, I'm like, 'Let's have one!' I have a lot of work to do now but I'm totally ready if it happens.
"It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don't have that (issue) but if I do, then a surrogate is something I've thought about. Eddie and I have also talked about adopting," Rimes said.
Rimes and her husband are all set to appear on their own scripted reality show soon.
