The incident occurred on Wednesday when Pradeep Kumar, the lecturer at Government Polytechnic College in Jaipur, had gone to the college as observer and had raised objection over use of unfair means by students during the examination.
"The owner of the college Yogendra Sunda allegedly beat him and asked him to keep quiet after the lecturer raised his objections. The lecturer later on lodged an FIR with Sadar police station," police said today.
No arrest has been made in this connection so far, they added.
