"Some officers are not discharging their duties as expected ... We are bearing with such IAS and IPS officers on a daily basis whose attitude which should have been positive is negative," Shivpal said.
The state PWD and Irrigation minister said this at a function organised here to mark 'Kranti Diwas' and the release of an e-book written by him on his elder brother and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Addressing the gathering, Shivpal said it was the government's responsibility to look after the honour and dignity of freedom fighters.
Khan said he had given Yadav the new title 'Jan Nayak' as "he is the real hero (nayak) of 125 crore Hindustanis".
