A college teacher, who had suffered injuries after her ex-husband threw acid on her in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, died today at a hospital in Chennai, the police said.
"Following the acid attack she had sustained burn injuries on her face and other body parts and after initial treatment in Chittoor she was shifted to a private hospital in Chennai. The exact cause of death as of now cannot be linked to the burns suffered...She had also developed some health complications," a senior police officer said.
