Lekhpal arrested for taking bribe

A police team of anti-corruption wing arrested a Lekhpal for allegedly taking bribe of Rs 5000 here, police said today.
The lekhpal, Ram Vilas Singh had demanded bribe from a farmer Ram Ajor Yadav of Ama village under Sadar Tehsil for measuring his land who informed the police.
The team led by inspector Ashok Kumar Tewari arrested the lekhpal yesterday while taking bribe and a case has been lodged in this connection, police added.
