"Ask the SEC to move to the Supreme Court with its complaints in which they are so good at," Mukherjee told reporters when asked about the verbal attacks.
On his party's allegation that the SEC dragged the panchayat elections to the month of Ramzan, Mukherjee alleged that the SEC had consented to it.
"Did the SEC submit an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying that it was not in favour of holding the panchayat polls during Ramzan?" he asked.
Asked about the SEC's ban on motorcycle processions during campaigning, Mukherjee said, "I see all political parties doing this. Why are you asking us alone?"
He also dismissed the complaint by opposition parties that they were not allowed to campaign.
"Who are the opposition? A recent survey revealed that the Congress has less than 10 per cent votes and the BJP not even one per cent. They don't have anything," he said.
Stating that his party wanted a free, fair and peaceful panchayat elections, he claimed that his party was certain about 100 per cent success.
