LG might visit PHQ on Friday

Lt Governor Anil Baijal is likely to visit the Police Headquarters on Friday to check functioning of the force.
An official said the Lt Governor will also hold a meeting with senior police officers at the PHQ.
"During the visit, the LG will check the functioning of Delhi Police. Most probably, the Lt Governor may visit the PHQ on Friday," the official said.
In the meeting, Baijal, who took charge of the new LG on December 31, is also expected to get details of initiatives taken by the force.
The LG is also likely to get the progress reports in the high-profile cases under investigation.

Last week, Baijal had visited DDA Headquarters at Vikas Sadan near INA and directed the agency, headed by him, to go for online services.
