Light rain hits parts of UP

Light to moderate rain and
thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh today.
The Met office here said Lalitpur received 5 cm of rainfall, followed by Rajghat and Varanasi (3 cm each), while Baberu, Chandauli and Khair received 2 cm each.
A Met department forecast said rain and thundershowers are likely to hit most places in the East Uttar Pradesh and at most places in the West UP.
Heavy rain is likely to lash isolated places over the state tomorrow and heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places later in the week, it added.
