Bikaner, Barmer, Jaipur and Ajmer registered day temperatures of 44.8, 44, 43.6 and 42.8 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
Meanwhile, light rainfall with thunder occurred at isolated areas.
Pilani recorded 5.4 mm of rainfall till evening while Srimadhopur in Sikar district, Bassi in Jaipur and Nagal in Dausa recorded 1 cm each till morning, the department said, adding light rains started yesterday.
It has predicted thunderstorms at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours.
