Temperature in different parts of Himachal Pradesh has dipped a few notches due to light rains on Monday morning, officials said.
State capital Shimla received 5 cm rainfall, whereas Olinda in Bilaspur witnessed 40 cm of rainfall from 8.30 am to 11.30 am, MeT Centre, Shimla, director Manmohan Singh said.
Kufri, Sundernagar, Jubbarhatti, Rajgarh, Sarahan, Annu, Fagu, Khara Pathar, Paonta Sahib, Manikaran, Sarabhi and Baghi also received light rain during the three-hour period, he added.
The sky is still overcast in various parts of the state and it may rain later in the day as well, he said.
